Indorse launches NFT vision Hack

An online hackathon focused on non-fungible tokens (NFTs) is offering more than $70,000 worth of prizes and grants to participants including software engineers, graphic designers, NFT creators, game developers and digital artists. This is a free to enter NFT Vision Hack. And it is organized by Indorse, Nifty Labs Gibraltar and Coinsilium.

The use of NFTs has exploded in the past year. The market for non-fungible tokens surged to new highs in the second quarter, with $2.5 billion in sales so far this year. NBA highlight videos and digital art are among the NFTs being sold for six and seven figure sums. Capitalizing on this groundswell of interest, the hackathon aims to push the boundaries of what is considered possible in the world of NFTs. And that is with entrants choosing between four tracks such as, building on the open source Rarible Protocol, focusing on NFT payment solutions, creating a scalable NFT art project, or developing innovative solutions that combine gaming and NFTs.

The Hon Albert Isola MP, Minister for Digital and Financial Services, HM Government of Gibraltar stated that the NFT Vision Hack 2021 is a wonderful opportunity for industry-leading developers and artists to collaborate, share expertise and find innovative solutions using NFT technologies. As the first jurisdiction to introduce legislation around Distributed Ledger Technology, HM Government of Gibraltar is a proud sponsor of the NFT Vision Hack. Gaurang Torvekar, CEO and Co-Founder of Indorse, concluded that they are incredibly delighted to see several teams diligently developing innovative solutions in the NFT space, right from combining NFTs with Defi to AI for the NFT Vision Hack. This hackathon brings together artists and developers who are the pillars of the NFT community, forever reshaping how art is created and sold.
