iSend Logistics last mile delivery service expanded across country

iSend Logistics is a Malaysia-based logistics and warehousing firm, that offers cost-efficient, fast and reliable courier delivery services in Malaysia. It is expanding its last-mile delivery services across the country. iSend Logistics in partnership with local courier and freight forwarding services provider Ikobana, is carrying out this plan of expansion.

Currently, they have their warehouses in Klang Valley, Penang and Johor.
This pandemic has resulted in a growth in e-commerce and has fast-tracked digital adoption in many instances. And majorly, the Malaysians buy more products and services online. Hence that also creates an increasing demand for logistical services. Zamri Rahman, iSend Logistics General Manager told the media that the partnership between iSend and Ikobana will provide an opportunity for them to demonstrate their position in Malaysia’s first and last-mile delivery market. He added that they have identified gaps in consumer demand and will be offering exciting and newly improved products and services soon.

In the next five years, they are planning to expand across Malaysia with at least 99 satellite stations. They are currently having six distribution centres and 60 satellite stations in Malaysia. Malaysian airline AirAsia’s logistics arm Teleport signed an agreement last month, to buy out DeliverEat, which is a Penang-based online food delivery platform. It was a deal worth of $9.8 million.
