Samsung will attend Barcelona’s World Mobile Congress remotely

One of the famous South Korean mobile handset manufacturing company is Samsung Electronics. It made an announcement stating that they will not be present at the World Mobile Congress in Barcelona next month.

This announcement is based on the current Covid situation. It became the latest major company to decide to attend the event remotely, due to the concerns from this situation.

This mobile manufacturer Samsung stated that the health and safety of their employees, partners and customers is their number one priority. And so, they have made this decision to withdraw from exhibiting in-person at this year’s Mobile World Congress.

The world’s largest mobile telephone industry event, edition 2020 was cancelled due to the prevailed pandemic crisis. This is usually held each year in Barcelona in February. And also, this has been postponed to late June 2021.

Other companies including Ericsson have also said they would attend the congress remotely.
